Application Call for Managing Director – Nepal Railway Company
The Government of Nepal, Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport (MoPIT), has invited applications from eligible Nepali citizens for the appointment of Managing Director at Nepal Railway Company.
This notice has been published in accordance with Sub-section (1) of Section 8 of the "Procedure for Selection and Recommendation of Managing Director of Nepal Railway Company, 2082".
Applications must be submitted within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of publication (excluding public holidays) during office hours at the Administration Branch, MoPIT, Singhadurbar.
Applicants must submit an application along with an application fee voucher of NPR 5,000 (five thousand rupees) deposited at Rastriya Banijya Bank Ltd., Singhadurbar, Kathmandu, in Revenue Account No. 100001002000100000, Revenue Title No. 14229 (Other Administrative Service Fees), Office Code 337003501 (MoPIT), and attach the original voucher.

Required Qualifications and Conditions
As per Section 6 of the Procedure for Selection and Recommendation of Managing Director of Nepal Railway Company, 2082, the candidate must meet the following criteria:

Must be a Nepali citizen

Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Management from a recognized institution

Must have at least five years of experience in management

Must be at least 35 years old and not exceed 60 years of age

Must not be disqualified under prevailing laws for appointment

Must not be disqualified as per Sub-section (2) of Section 6 of the Procedure
Mandatory Documents to Submit

Detailed Bio-data: Include educational qualifications, work experience, contact address (email, phone/mobile number, residence/office address), signed at the end of each page

Certified Copies: Citizenship certificate, educational certificates, and documents verifying professional experience (self-attested by the applicant)

Business Action Plan: A business action plan of not more than 5,000 words, prepared by the applicant, submitted in four sealed copies in a separate envelope

Shortlisted candidates must present their business action plan during the presentation session

Selected candidates must present original documents submitted with the application before the interview
