The Bachelor of Business Studies at Krishna Baijanath Multiple Campus is a four-year undergraduate program affiliated with Tribhuvan University under the Faculty of Management. The campus has conducted the BBS program since 2067 BS at Shuklaphanta Municipality-10, Jhalari, Kanchanpur.
The program combines economics, accounting, business communication, management, finance, marketing, law, taxation, research, and entrepreneurship. Study progresses from foundational business subjects in the first year to concentration courses and field-based project work in the fourth year.

Course structure
The first year establishes a base in business language, numerical analysis, economics, accounting, and management. Students study Business English, Business Statistics, Microeconomics for Business, Financial Accounting and Analysis, and Principles of Management.
The second year covers Business Communication, Macroeconomics for Business, Cost and Management Accounting, Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management, and Fundamentals of Financial Management.
Third-year study includes Business Law, Foundation of Financial Systems, Business Environment and Strategy, Taxation in Nepal, and Fundamentals of Marketing. These subjects connect legal, financial, strategic, taxation, and market-related areas of business study.
In the fourth year, students study Entrepreneurship, Business Research Methods, three concentration courses, and a final project. The available concentration streams are Accounting, Finance, Management, and Marketing. This structure allows students to develop focused knowledge in one functional area while completing research-based academic work.
Eligibility and admission
Applicants must have completed 10+2 in business or commerce, or an equivalent qualification recognized by Tribhuvan University. Candidates must also meet any additional entry conditions prescribed by the Faculty Board or the campus.
Teaching and evaluation
The TU curriculum supports a combination of classroom lectures, group discussions, problem-solving exercises, guest lectures, practical activities, project work, and case-based teaching where appropriate.
Final evaluation is conducted through annual examinations administered by the Office of the Controller of Examinations, Tribhuvan University. Students must maintain at least 70 percent attendance in classes actually conducted to qualify for the annual examination. Theory, practical, and project components must be passed separately where applicable.
Final project work
The fourth-year final project carries 50 marks and is an essential part of the program. Students undertake four weeks of fieldwork in an organization during the period arranged by the campus. They then prepare a report in the format prescribed by the Faculty of Management.
The project may include a presentation before teachers or students, followed by evaluation from internal and external examiners. A viva voce is conducted by the research committee of the concerned campus. To complete the degree, students must pass 19 courses carrying 1,950 marks and the 50-mark final project.
BBS learning environment at the campus
Krishna Baijanath Multiple Campus supports teaching through classrooms equipped with whiteboards and selected multimedia projectors. Students also have access to a computer room, internet services, and a library containing 7,602 books, newspapers, periodicals, journals, and a separate study room.
The campus conducts orientations, seminars, workshops, interaction programs, and special coaching classes according to student demand. These resources support the classroom, research, communication, and project requirements of the BBS program.
