Dharani Literary Magazine Launched in Dumja, Sindhuli
At Dharin Danda in Dumja, Sindhuli—the birthplace of Krishna Prasad Koirala, father of Matrika Prasad Koirala, B.P. Koirala, and Tarini Prasad Koirala—the literary magazine “Dharani” was made public.
Panipokhari Youth Club, Dumja released the fourth issue of its annual literary publication “Dharani” on Wednesday.

Club’s Ongoing Literary Contribution
Located in Sunkoshi Rural Municipality–1, Panipokhari Youth Club publishes “Dharani” each year on its anniversary.
Through this effort, the club promotes local literary creation and contributes to the development of literary writing at the community level.
Koirala Family and Literary Legacy
Three sons of Krishna Prasad Koirala—Matrika Prasad Koirala, Bishweshwar Prasad (B.P.) Koirala, and Girija Prasad Koirala—served as Prime Ministers of Nepal.
In addition, Matrika Prasad Koirala, B.P. Koirala, and Tarini Prasad Koirala made significant contributions to Nepali literature.
Dumja-born and ancestrally connected writers Dharanidhar Koirala, Shankar Koirala, and Mohan Koirala also hold a distinctive place in Nepali literary history.
BP Park and Heritage Promotion
In Dumja, Sunkoshi Rural Municipality–1, a historic B.P. Park is under construction in their memory. According to the club, the program was organized at the under-construction B.P. Park. The club stated that promoting and protecting this site is a responsibility shared by all residents of Dumja.
