Khwopa College in Bhaktapur has organized a two-day educational exhibition at Dekocha starting on Wednesday (15th February 2023). The exhibition is being held to celebrate the 23rd anniversary of Khwopa Mavi, the 21st anniversary of Khwopa College, and the 32nd anniversary of Sharda Campus, as well as the establishment and operation of Khwopa College of Law, which is run by Bhaktapur Municipality.
The exhibition features over 100 stalls, with more than 2000 students from 11th to postgraduate level directly participating. Khwopa College offers education in five faculties, including science, management, humanities, education, and law, and students have set up stalls related to the subjects they have studied.
Narayanman Bijukchen, the president of Nepal Nepal Majdoor Kisan Party (Nepal Workers Peasants Party), inaugurated the anniversary and prize distribution ceremony. The ceremony recognized the best students who received awards, prizes, and certificates for their outstanding performance in annual, semester, and faculty examinations conducted by the University. Moreover, teachers and staff who have served continuously for 10 years were also honored in the program, and awards and certificates were distributed to the winning players and teams of various sports competitions organized on the occasion of the anniversary.
Roopak Joshi, the principal of the college and the coordinator of the main celebration committee of the anniversary celebration, informed about the exhibition and the celebration committee's coordination. The exhibition has been organized to showcase the knowledge and skills gained by the students in various subjects they have studied.
