The Public Service Commission (Lok Sewa Aayog) has issued a large number of advertisements to fill the vacancies of Gazetted First Class Joint Secretary (Sahasachib) and Second Class Deputy Secretary (Upasachiv). According to the PSC sources, the written examination for the posts of Joint Secretary and Deputy Secretary advertised now will start at the end of Manshir and will continue till the end of January. Even when the examination is conducted in two shifts in the morning and afternoon, it has become a routine of the examination until the end of Magh. After this, the vacancies of Section Officer, Nayab Subba, Kharidar, and other posts will be advertised, he said.

The commission has prepared criteria for those who are infected with Covid-19 to sit for the examination. Protests are also taking place over the lack of alternative arrangements for cod infections. Before entering the examination hall, the students themselves have to declare whether they have a covid-19 infection or not. PSC source said that it was not possible for the infected students to take the exam on another date or by managing a separate hall. Devi Prasad Subedi, an information officer of the commission, said that the examination was prepared by specifying the criteria of health security.
