Class 12 Result to Be Published Within 45 Days
The National Examination Board is preparing to publish the Class 12 result within 45 days of the completion of the examination. The Board has stated that work related to result publication has been expedited.
Although only two weeks have passed since the examination ended, the Board has said that more than 50 percent of the work related to result publication has already been completed. According to Krishna Sharma, Controller of Examinations at the Board, more than half of the answer sheet evaluation work has already been completed.
The work of rechecking the marks obtained in the evaluated answer sheets and entering them into the computer is also underway. According to Sharma, as soon as the evaluation of answer sheets for a subject is completed, rechecking begins immediately, and once the rechecking is completed, the obtained marks are entered into the computer.
To make result publication faster, the Board started evaluating answer sheets from the very day the Class 12 examination ended. Answer sheet evaluation is being carried out from 42 centers across the country.
Controller of Examinations Sharma said that the result publication work would not go beyond 45 days from the completion of the examination. He informed that work is being carried out with the aim of publishing the result before 45 days, as far as possible.
This year, 418,000 examinees from across the country participated in the Class 12 examination.
The Board had also published the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) result this time within 29 days of the completion of the examination. According to the Board, this was the shortest time taken to publish the SEE result in its history. Earlier, it generally used to take three months from the completion of the examination to publish the SEE and Class 12 results.
