Nepal Police Directs 12 Absent Personnel to Report Within 7 Days
Kathmandu: The Office of the Inspector General of Police (Law and Human Rights Division) at Nepal Police Headquarters, Naxal, has directed 12 police personnel who have remained absent without authorization to report within seven days. The office published a notice on 2083/05/10, directing them to report with a satisfactory explanation within seven days, excluding travel time.
According to the notice, the personnel have remained absent from their respective offices without authorization since various dates. A public notice has been issued because they did not come into contact despite efforts to locate them and the completion of procedures, including the posting of notices, in accordance with the Police Regulations.
The Nepal Police Headquarters has warned that if they fail to report to their respective office or the office issuing the notice within the prescribed period with a satisfactory explanation, action will be taken to remove them from service in accordance with the Police Regulations, 2071 (as amended). Through this collective notice, they have been provided an opportunity to submit their defense.
