Student Attraction Increases in Public Schools in Butwal

Butwal is a city located in the western part of Nepal. Recently, there has been an increase in the number of students in public schools in Butwal due to the encouragement of the school management committee, teachers, and parents.

Increased Attraction in Public Schools:

Kalika Manavgyan Secondary School, Kanti Secondary School, Naharpur Secondary School, Semlar Secondary School, and Nayagaon Secondary School in Butwal have seen a rise in the number of students. Moreover, schools in the rural areas of Butwal, such as Narainapur Basic School, have also become an example of this trend.

The success of Narainapur Basic School:

Narainapur Basic School, located in the rural area of Butwal sub-metropolitan city-16, has more than 200 students currently studying. This school was closed due to a lack of students, but within two years, the number of students increased from 45 to 200. The principal of the school, Ambika Aryal, credits the school management committee, teachers, and parents' commitment and hard work for this achievement.

Efforts by School Management:

Chudamani Aryal, the chairman of the school management committee, consulted with the teachers to increase the number of students. With everyone's support, suggestions, advice, and team spirit, they succeeded in achieving their goal. Additionally, the school conducts continuous discussions and dialogues between teachers and parents to monitor the student's academic progress.

Revival of Closed School:

Former People's Representative Ram Prasad Regmi highlighted the important role of school management committees and teachers in reviving closed schools. As the number of students increased, the Butwal sub-metropolitan city constructed a two-room building for Narainapur Basic School. The head of the Butwal sub-metropolitan city, Khelraj Pandey, provided financial support for this project.

Overall, the success of Narainapur Basic School is a promising sign for public schools in Butwal. With the support and cooperation of the school management committee, teachers, and parents, more students can be attracted to public schools in Butwal, improving the quality of education and ensuring a brighter future for students.
