5. Post, Age Limit, and Required Qualification:
Post: Armed Police Jawan
Age Limit: 18 years on the day the advertisement is published and not exceeding 22 years
Minimum Qualification Required Shasastra Prahari Jawan Post:
1) Passed at least 8th class,
2) At least five feet two inches for men and at least five feet tall for women,
3) In the case of men, the chest should be at least 30 inches when not inflated and 32 inches when inflated (not for women),
4) The eye is not weaker than minus 2 or plus 2,
5) Weighs at least 50 Kg for men and at least 42 Kg for women
6) Obtained certificate of Nepali citizenship,
7) Received health certificate from the approved doctor specified by the head office, (to be conducted during the examination)
8) Apart from the educational institution where he studied and two other relatives, he received a recommendation of good character from the Gazetted Officer of the Government of Nepal.
9) Not being convicted by a court on a criminal charge of moral turpitude,
10) Not being a member of a political party at the time of application,
11) Not being a member of a terrorist organization,
12) Not dismissed from the job to be disqualified for future government service.
13) Not being punished for violations of human rights and humanitarian law,
14) Not convicted of espionage against Nepal.

6) Revenue Fee (Application Fees):
Armed Police Jawan Post: Rs. 150.- (one hundred and fifty rupees) has to be paid while submitting the application. Also, when submitting the application form for the inclusive side, 20% (Rs. 30) of the per-group examination fee for the additional groups will have to be paid.
7) Required Documents:
The following documents mentioned in the application sash advertisement must be certified and submitted by the candidate himself.
(A) Copy of Nepali Citizenship Certificate- 1 (One) Copy.
(B) Five (5) copies of recent passport size photograph with both ears.
(C) A copy of the certificate of minimum educational qualification obtained by him/her.
(D) A copy of the certificate certified as Adivasi / Janajati from the Nepal Adivasi Janajati National Upliftment Foundation for Adivasi / Janajati - one (1) copy. However, if there is more than one surname within the caste listed in the Nepal Adivasi Janajati National Upliftment Foundation Act, on the recommendation of the head of the concerned local body, a copy of the certificate certified as the surname within the caste listed by the Chief District Officer - one (1) copy.
(E) For Madhesis, the Government of Nepal has published a notice in the Nepal Gazette stating that it has been declared as Gadheri by a specified organization; But by publishing a notice in the Nepal Gazette, on the recommendation of the head of the concerned local body specified by the corporation, a copy of the certificate certified as Madhesi by the Chief District Officer - one (1) copy.
(F) A copy of the certificate certified as Dalit by the National Dalit Commission for Dalits - one (1) copy; If there is more than one surname within the caste listed by the National Dalit Commission, on the recommendation of the head of the concerned local body, a copy of the certificate certified as a surname within the caste listed by the Chief District Officer - one (1) copy.
(G) For backward areas, permanent residence in Achham, Kalikot, Jajarkot, Jumla, Dolpa, Bajhang, Bajura, Mugu, and Humla districts and obtaining a citizenship certificate from the respective district; And a copy of the recommendation of permanent residence in the same place till the time of application from the concerned rural municipality or municipality - one (1) copy.
8. Exam Method:
(A) Preliminary physical examination

(C) Detailed health examination
(D) Written examination
(E) Special health examination
(F) Interview
PS:
(1) Application form may be registered from any office/place of the Armed Police Force, Nepal mentioned in point no. 4
(2) Candidates shall appear in the examination of each stage along with the original copy of the admission card and citizenship.
3) The results will be published after the completion of each stage of the examination and only the successful candidates will be included in the next examination.
(4) While conducting the examination, the same examination will be conducted on the open and inclusive side and the posts will be filled only on the basis of the marks obtained by them by holding separate competitions only among the candidates on the inclusive side.
5) The results of the interview examination will be published in the following order.
(A) Open (b) Women (e) Adibasi / Janajati (d) Madhesi (e) Dalit (f) Backward Area (g) Amar / Disabled APF Staff Descendants
(6) After receiving the appointment, the basic training shall be conducted as per the syllabus prescribed by the Armed Police Force, Nepal Head Office.
(7) The application form and the syllabus for the post of youth can be submitted to the office of the Armed Police Force, Nepal by downloading from the website www.apf.gov.np or by photocopying the required documents.
(8) When submitting the application form, the original certificates should be brought along.
(9) Candidates must have their hair cut short so that both ears can be seen during the initial physical examination (for men only).
(10) In case of an accident during the period of selection examination, the candidate himself shall be responsible for it.
11) The written examination for the post of Armed Police personnel mentioned in point no. 8 (d) shall be conducted on the date and place specified by the Public Service Commission.
12) The date of contact will be informed from the offices where the examination schedule application form has been registered including the examination center where the examination will be conducted related to this advertisement.
Note:
(1) In the case of the departmental trainees who have received the basic training for the post of Armed Police Attendant, they may be candidates for the post of Armed Police Personnel which will be filled by the open competition of the Armed Police Service till the age of 30 (thirty) years.
(2) Candidates can get the date, place, time, and result of the examination from the Armed Police Force, Nepal's website www.apf.gov.np and through the SMS service of Nepal Telecom by typing RCT [Space] registration number and sending an SMS to 1114. However, if the result is inconsistent due to technical reasons, the notice published by the official letter will be valid.
