Kantipur City College (KCC), a premier educational institution committed to academic excellence, is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Student Admission Counselor. Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and counseling to prospective students and their parents regarding admission procedures, eligibility criteria, courses offered, and career opportunities.
- Conduct informative presentations and workshops to promote the college and its programs.
- Respond to inquiries and provide accurate and timely information through various communication channels (in-person, phone, email, etc.).
- Assist students in completing application forms, collecting required documents, and ensuring compliance with admission requirements.
- Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate prospective students’ interests, goals, and suitability for the college.
- Collaborate with the admissions team to develop and implement effective strategies to attract and enroll a diverse pool of qualified students.
- Maintain and update student records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of information.
- Participate in college fairs, recruitment events, and other promotional activities to attract potential students.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Education, Counseling, Psychology, or similar).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of college admissions procedures, entrance exams, and educational systems will be preferable.
- Familiarity with student counseling techniques and career guidance.
- Proficient in using technology and computer applications.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
