Lumbini Province Health Directorate Global Fund Program Vacancy 2082

Lumbini Province Government, Ministry of Health, Health Directorate, Rapti Valley (Deukhuri), Nepal, Notice Regarding Hiring of Employees on Contract Service for Global Fund Program.

For the operation of the Global Fund Program, the Health Directorate, Bhalubang, Dang, requires employees on contract service for the following posts. Eligible Nepali citizens are invited to apply within seven (7) days from the date of this notice.

Post: Surveillance Medical Officer

Required Number: 1

Minimum Qualification: MBBS (Master’s preferred) and registered at NMC. At least three years of relevant work experience.

Post: Microbiologist/Lab Officer

Required Number: 1

Minimum Qualification: M.Sc. in Microbiology with specialization in Parasitology. At least three years of professional experience as a Microbiologist.

Post: Entomologist

Required Number: 1

Minimum Qualification: M.Sc. in Medical Entomology or Tropical Medicine with major in Entomology/Parasitology, or Zoology with Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Entomology and Parasitology. At least three years of professional experience as an Entomologist.

Post: Program Officer (TB, HIV, Malaria)

Required Number: 1

Minimum Qualification: Master’s in Public Health or related Social Science with minimum three years of experience in Public Health projects.

Post: Monitoring, Evaluation and Supply Management Assistant

Required Number: 1

Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Public Health or other related field. Minimum two years’ experience in communicable diseases (experience in HIV, TB, and Malaria programs funded under the Global Fund grant preferred).

Additional Information

1. Candidate Qualification and Experience: As per Clause 8 (1) of the Global Fund Program Employee Management Guidelines, 2081.

2. Must not be disqualified under prevailing laws.

3. Documents Required: Personal details, certified copies of academic certificates, certified copy of Nepali citizenship certificate, certified copies of experience documents, and professional council registration certificate as per law. Experience must be verified through appointment letters, contracts, job descriptions, and termination letters from authorized institutions. Originals must be presented during the exam.

4. Type of Service: Program Contract.

5. Selection Process: Written Examination and Interview.

6. Application Submission: Apply online via Kobo Toolbox Android application by scanning the QR code provided by the Health Directorate and upload all required documents.

7. Deadline: Within 7 days from the date of publication. If the last day falls on a public holiday, applications can be submitted until 5 PM on the next working day.

8. Examination Date: To be published on the Directorate’s website https://hd.lumbini.gov.np.

9. Only candidates passing the written examination will be eligible for the interview.
