The Teacher Service Commission (TSC), also known as Shikshak Sewa Aayog, has announced vacancies for the permanent appointment of primary-level (Prathamik Taha / Pra Bi) third-grade teachers in community schools. Interested candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria set by the TSC can apply for this competitive examination.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates must have passed at least a Proficiency Certificate level (10+2) or equivalent examination from a recognized educational institution.
  • A minimum of 10 months of training in education subject or a secondary education examination with 400 marks in the education subject is required.
  • Applicants must be Nepali citizens between the ages of 18 and 40 and must possess a teaching license.

Application Process:

Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the position by submitting an online application through the TSC online application system at https://online.tsc.gov.np. The application process begins on 2079/12/09.

Selection Process:

The selection process for the position of primary-level, third-grade teacher will be conducted through a competitive examination consisting of two phases: a written exam and an interview.

This is an excellent opportunity for those who aspire to pursue a career in teaching and meet the eligibility criteria to apply for the position of primary level, third-grade teacher in community schools.

Vacancy Details:

1) Type of Examination: (a) Written Examination (General and Subjective) (b) Interview

2) Conduct of Examination:

(a) Date and Time of Conducting Written Examination (General): 2080/02/20 at 1:00 PM.

(b) The date of the written examination (subject-wise) will be fixed when the result of the general examination is published.

(c) Date, time and place of interview: The results of the written test (subjective) will be determined when the results are published.

3) Examination Center: It will be published later on the Commission's website.

4) Application Fee: Rs. 500/ (at an additional rate of Rs. 400/- for each inclusive group) has to be paid.

5) Last date of application: 2080/01/08.

6) Date of submission of application for payment of double duty: up to 2080/01/15.

7) Age limit of candidates: 18 years of age and not exceeding 40 years by the last date of application.

8) Mode of Application:

The application for the advertised post should be done through the online application system. The application can be submitted through the online application system by clicking on the official website of the Commission https://online.tsc.gov.np and detailed information about the method of submitting the application can be viewed on the website of the Commission (add: user manual link).

9) Bank and method of submission of application fee:

The form has to be submitted through the Commission's online application system. Before submitting the form, if the details you filled in are missing or if any documents are missing, “No? If the details including your name match, the specified amount must be filed within the specified date for single and double invoices. It will be confirmed that your application has been filed only after verifying the payment. The commission will publish the notification after the deadline for submitting the application for viewing and printing the admit card. For this, keep your email, candidate code number and password safe.

10) Period for submission of application fee:

On the day after the last day of application, the voucher printed up to the previous day must be submitted within the banking transaction time and in case of submitting a double payment application, the payment mentioned in the voucher printed up to the previous day on the day after the last day of the application must be compulsorily submitted within the banking transaction time. But if there is a public holiday, it can be submitted on the opening day of the office.

11) Minimum qualification required for candidates:

(a) Nepalese citizens.

(b) Not ineligible as per Rule 10 of Teachers Service Commission Rules (with amendments), 2057.

(c) Passed Secondary Education Pass Examination (Class 12) or equivalent examination (at least 200 full marks or 8 credit hours) in the relevant subject from a recognized educational institution and completed at least 10 months of training in education.

(d) Obtained a permanent teaching license of primary level.

(e) Persons who have obtained permanent teaching permit of higher level can also be candidates for the teacher post mentioned in this advertisement. But even such people should have completed at least 10 months of training in education.

Documents to be uploaded:

Citizenship certificate, recent photograph, signature sample, certificate of minimum qualification, training certificate and equivalency certificate (in case of studying from a foreign educational institution) should be scanned and uploaded in jpeg/jpg format (at most 200 163) at the location specified by the online application system. Regarding the details mentioned in the application and the submitted documents, the candidate himself should be fully responsible. If the mentioned details and documents are found to be false or if the specified documents are not submitted, such application will be canceled at any time.

Additional documents to be submitted by Inclusive side candidates:

(a) Regarding tribes/tribes, in the case of castes listed in the Nepal Tribal/Tribal Upliftment National Foundation Act, 2058, on the basis of the same list and if there is more than one surname within the caste listed in that Act, the surname within the caste is listed by the chief district officer on the recommendation of the head of the local level concerned. Certified document.

In the case of declared Madhesi group, Madheshi, tribal/tribal, Dalit, backward class or minority Muslim community living in Terai-Madhesh is a Madheshi, tribal/tribal, Dalit, backward class or minority Muslim community living in Terai Madhesh from the organization specified by the Government of Nepal by publishing a notice in the Nepal Gazette. (c) Regarding Dalits, in the case of castes listed by the National Dalit Commission, on the basis of the same list and if there is more than one surname within the caste listed by that commission, a document certified by the Chief District Officer that the surname is within the caste listed in that manner, on the recommendation of the head of the local level concerned.

(d) In case of disability, an identity card certifying disability from the concerned body (Social Welfare Council, Women's Development Office and relevant local level).

(e) In relation to the backward areas, permanent residence in Achham, Kalikot, Jajarkot, Jumla, Dolpa, Bajhang, Bajura, Mugu and Humla districts has been mentioned in the citizenship certificate obtained from the respective district and it has been proved that he has permanent residence in the same place till the time of application from the concerned local level. 

Additional information regarding advertisement:

(a) The competition and selection of this advertisement will be at the district level.

(b) Since the written examination will be held on the same day at the same time, any candidate can fill the application form only in one district. If the application form is rejected due to failure to do so, the candidate will be responsible and accountable.

(c) Candidates of open and inclusive groups will be selected through a single examination.

(d) Adivasi/Janajati; A candidate from a Madhesi, Adivasi/Janajati, Dalit, backward class or minority Muslim or Dalit group living in Terai-Madhesh can compete as a candidate of one community only. But this provision will not apply to women.

(e) A candidate will be considered to have received training only if he has taken the subject of teaching practice (instructional pedagogy) or practicum when he passes the secondary education passing examination (class 12) or proficiency certificate level or similar examination in education-related subjects of 200 full marks.

(f) If a person has taken 10 months of training and passed Class 12 from the special course of the Higher Secondary Education Council at that time, such a person cannot be a candidate in this advertisement as it was recognized only for the purpose of training without recognition of the academic degree.

(g) When a candidate fills the application form from a backward area, the citizenship certificate is issued from the district mentioned under (2) of the explanation to sub-rule (1) of Rule 11A of the Teachers Service Commission Regulations (with amendments), 2057 only if the place of birth and permanent residence is in those districts.

(h) Facilities will be available. But on the basis of marriage registration or immigration documents, the facilities of that area will not be available.

(i) Within 21 days from the date of publication of the advertisement, if the relevant body writes to increase or decrease the number of posts, the number of posts may be increased only if the number of posts does not affect the inclusive group.

(j) The period of double duty shall not be counted for the purpose of age, educational qualification and training.

(k) Applications that are not submitted within the deadline specified by the commission, or that do not meet the minimum qualifications, or that do not disclose other specified details, or that do not submit the specified fee, or that do not have any conditions, will not be accepted.

(l) If it is known that a candidate has submitted false details (documents), the application of such a candidate will be canceled at any time and action will be taken according to the prevailing law.

(m) Candidates who are unable to write by themselves due to disability (blind, 'C' class low vision and non-handicapped (disability) if the candidate requests an assistant writer, a person with qualification at least one level below the minimum qualification prescribed for the respective level to sit in the examination as an assistant writer) permanent residence of the candidate

According to the legal provisions mentioned in the post, the posts for which no suitable candidate is available have been included in this advertisement by indicating a star (4) in the relevant group. Even in this advertisement, if a suitable candidate is not available from that group, such a post will be included in the post to be filled through open competition.
