Job Description:
The Finance Officer will be responsible for various finance-related tasks such as MIS preparation and reporting, fee administration, payment management, accounting, tax compliance, and other finance-related duties assigned by senior management.
- MIS Preparation & Reporting: The Finance Officer will prepare and submit different finance-related MIS.
- Fee Administration: The Finance Officer will generate invoices for students and collect fees from them.
- Payment Management: The Finance Officer will process payments, check the completeness of payment documents, and prepare a payment schedule for payment to suppliers.
- Accounting: The Finance Officer will keep proper accounts of all the financial transactions of the college.
- Tax Compliance: The Finance Officer will file periodic tax returns.
- Others: The Finance Officer will perform any other finance-related work assigned by the senior management.
Job Specification:
The ideal candidate for this position should have the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other relevant/equivalent degrees.
- At least two years of work experience in a similar role.
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles and practices.
- Well-versed with the prevailing laws and regulations on taxation and accounting.
- Excellent office management and general administrative skills.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and deadline-oriented.
- Good organizational and time management abilities.
