Course Overview
Purbanchal University's Bachelor of Science in Nursing curriculum is structured across four academic years. The revised curriculum was introduced in 2019 (2076) under the Faculty of Medical and Allied Sciences. The course develops nursing knowledge and practical competence across hospital nursing, midwifery, family and reproductive health, community health nursing, research, education and management. Internal practical assessment can include project work, performance evaluation, case study or presentation, client teaching, student teaching, report writing, procedure logbooks, nursing care plans and procedure evaluation. Final practical assessment includes procedure or patient-care evaluation, OSPE/OSCE or simulation, and viva components.
