
A three-day training on preparing a comprehensive school safety plan was completed for principals and teachers from 21 Naraharinath Rural Municipality community schools and Sanni Triveni Rural Municipality in Kalikot.
Purpose of Providing the Training
Since children are more affected by different disasters, the training was provided to promote implementing a comprehensive school safety plan.
Information Shared According to the Guideline
As per the Comprehensive School Safety Implementation Guideline, 2075, the plan is being developed in all community schools. In this context, 11 schools from Naraharinath Rural Municipality and 10 schools from Sanni Triveni Rural Municipality were informed about the comprehensive school safety plan.

Teacher Tapendra Mahatara said that Plan International Nepal and KIRDARC Nepal have significantly supported the promotion of quality school education through the Empowered Girls Project.
Teacher Pankhabahadur Bishta said that every activity conducted by KIRDARC Nepal has been effective. He also mentioned that this comprehensive school safety plan training is necessary for schools in remote areas.
