12th International Joint Conference on Convergence at Kathmandu Model College
Kathmandu Model College (KMC), in collaboration with Nepal Open University (NOU), is set to organize the 12th “International Joint Conference on Convergence.”
According to KMC, this international conference, scheduled for February 3 to 6, 2026, will present Nepal more strongly on the global stage in the fields of academic research, technology, and innovation.
This edition of the conference will be based on the theme “Advanced and Applied Convergence for a Smarter Sustainable Future.” Researchers, professors, industry experts, and young innovators from around the world will present the latest research conducted in multidisciplinary and “convergence technology” fields.
The conference will be conducted with the support of renowned Korean institutions: the International Institute of Business Convergence (IIBC), the International Promotion Agency of Culture Technology (IPACT) Knowledge Forest, and the Visual Information Design Association of Korea (VIDAK).
According to Head of Internal Quality Assurance Dhruv Prasad Timilsena, KMC claims that the conference will serve as an important foundation for promoting academic research and technology-innovation in Nepal.
“It will open new opportunities for knowledge exchange and collaboration with the international community,” he said. RMC Head of Kathmandu Model College Ujjwal Bhattarai stated that hosting such an international-level conference in Nepal would be a highly encouraging and promising opportunity for young researchers, innovators, and the entire academic sector.
The conference has invited original, innovative, and high-quality research papers based on integrated and multidisciplinary technology areas.
