
Lower Secondary Level Teaching License Advertisement
As per Rule 6(gha) sub-rule (1) of the Teachers Service Commission (TSC - Shikshak Sewa Aayog) Regulation, 2057 (with amendments), and the minimum qualifications prescribed in Rule 9 sub-rule (1)(kha) and sub-rule (6), eligible and non-disqualified individuals who wish to obtain a Lower Secondary Level (NiMaVi) Teaching License must submit an online application through the Commission’s official online application portal at https://license.tsc.gov.np/.
This advertisement is published for the information of all concerned.
Once the revenue fee is paid, personal details and submitted documents in the online application cannot be edited, revised, or added/removed.
Submit the online application only after confirming personal details and required documents. If discrepancies arise after submission, the applicant will be personally liable, and such applications may be canceled by the Commission at any time.

Banks and Method for Paying the Application Fee

Fill the form on the Commission’s online portal and submit.

Before submitting, ensure no detail or document is missing.

After confirming, Click on “Details of Application Submitted.”

Once the application fee is paid, no applicant details can be changed; confirm all details are correct.

To pay the fee, Click “Click Here.”

In Bank Option, select “Rastriya Banijya Bank” or “Nepal Bank Limited.”

After bank selection, Click “Get Voucher.”

Once the voucher is generated, print it and deposit the specified amount at the selected bank within the given time.

For Online payment, after voucher generation, Click “Pay Online” on the same page.

An online voucher will be generated; options will appear for Connect IPS, E-Sewa, Khalti, and IME Pay.

Click any one of Connect IPS, E-Sewa, Khalti, or IME Pay.

Then Click “Make Payment.”

Enter Username and password for the selected option. If the online payment details (including your name) match, deposit the specified amount (single or double fee as per date).

Ensure the amount has been deposited; only after verification of payment will your application be confirmed as submitted.

The Commission will publish a notice after the application period to view and print the admit card. Keep your email, Candidate ID, and password secure.
Application Fee Payment Period

Applicants must print the voucher generated by the Revenue Information System by 2082/07/10 at 11:59 PM and deposit the fee at the bank by 2082/07/11 within banking hours.

For those applying with double fee, print the voucher by 2082/07/17 at 11:59 PM and deposit the fee by 2082/07/18 within banking hours.

If 2082/07/11 or 2082/07/18 is a public holiday, revenue can be deposited on the next working day within banking hours. If the application is canceled due to non-payment within the time limit, the applicant will be personally liable.

For vouchers generated for single fee Rs. 700/- between 2082/07/11 and 2082/07/17 at 11:59 PM, revenue must be deposited by 2082/07/18 within banking hours.

For vouchers generated for double fee Rs. 1,400/- between 2082/07/11 and 2082/07/17 at 11:59 PM, revenue must also be deposited by 2082/07/18 within banking hours. Otherwise, the online system will reject the application.
Minimum Required Qualifications

(a) Nepali Citizenship.
-
(b) Not disqualified under Rule 6(gha) sub-rule (1) of the Teachers Service Commission Regulation, 2057 (with amendments).

(c) Passed Secondary Education Examination (Class 12) or equivalent in the concerned subject from a recognized educational institution and completed at least a 10-month education training; or passed Class 12 with education-related subjects totaling 200 full marks.

(d) Individuals with qualifications higher than the prescribed minimum may also apply.
Documents to Upload

Citizenship certificate, recent photograph, specimen signature, transcripts of minimum qualification, training certificate, and equivalence certificate (for those who studied at foreign institutions).

Scan and Upload in JPEG/PNG format (maximum 200 KB, minimum 75 KB) at the locations specified by the online application system.

The candidate is fully responsible for the details mentioned in the application and the documents submitted. If any detail or document is found false, the application or teaching license may be canceled at any time.
Additional Information
(a) If Class 12 or equivalent is passed from a foreign educational institution, submit a copy of the equivalence certificate.
(b) As per Clause 6(kha) of the Teaching License Distribution and Management Procedure, 2080, regarding educational qualification and training required for the Lower Secondary Level Teaching License:

(1) If a person has studied education-related subjects totaling 200 full marks in Class 11 only, or Class 12 only, or in both Classes 11 and 12 combined, and passed the Secondary Education Examination (Class 12) or equivalent, it will be considered as training received.

(2) If the certificate mentions credit hours/grade points only (without full marks), and the person has studied two education-related subjects in Class 11 only, or Class 12 only, or in both Classes 11 and 12 combined, and passed, it will be considered as training received.
(c) Those who passed Class 12 under the Special Curriculum of the then Higher Secondary Education Board are recognized only for training purposes and not as an academic degree; hence, such persons cannot be candidates under this advertisement.
(d) As the written examination will be held on the same day and time, select the province from which you wish to participate. One person cannot apply from more than one province.
(e) Applications not submitted within the specified time, not meeting the minimum qualifications, not disclosing required details, not paying the prescribed fee, not in due form, or submitted with conditions will not be processed.
(f) The double-fee period will not be counted for determining age, educational qualification, and training completion date.
(g) If anyone is found to have submitted false details/documents, their application and license certificate will be canceled at any time, and action will be taken as per prevailing law.
(h) Applicants who cannot write by themselves due to disability (blind, “G” class low vision, and those with both hands non-functional) may request a scribe. The scribe must have a qualification at least one level lower than the minimum required and will be arranged from the roster maintained at the Education Development and Coordination Unit of the district where the exam center is located; the Unit will grant permission.
