Headquarters Directs 9 Out-of-Contact Armed Police Personnel to Report Within 7 Days
The Armed Police Force, Nepal Headquarters, under the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Home Affairs, has directed nine Armed Police personnel who left their barracks on their own and have remained out of contact to report within seven days.
According to the notice published by the Headquarters, personnel from various units who went on leave or left their line barracks on their own, remained absent, and have not been in any form of contact have been instructed to contact their respective offices within 7 (seven) days from the date of publication of the notice, excluding the time allowed for travel, along with a reasonable explanation.
The Headquarters stated that personnel who fail to report within the stipulated period will face action in accordance with the Armed Police Regulations, 2072 (as amended). The notice has been issued for the purpose of Sub-rule (1) of Rule 118 of the same Regulations.
