CTEVT Urgent 35-Day Claim Notice on Proposed Company Merger

Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Level Determination and Affiliation Division, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, has issued an extremely urgent 35-day notice on claims and objections regarding an application submitted for the proposed company merger of Phewa City Institute of Medical Science, Pokhara Metropolitan City-08, Nagdhunga, Pokhara, Kaski with Pokhara Technical Training and Research Centre, Pokhara-11, Pokhara, Kaski.

Phewa City Institute of Medical Science, Pokhara Metropolitan City-08, Nagdhunga, Pokhara, Kaski is an institution operating with affiliation/approval from CTEVT for a three-year certificate-level Nursing program.

Pokhara Technical Training and Research Centre, Pokhara-11, Pokhara, Kaski is an institution operating with affiliation/approval from CTEVT for certificate-level General Medicine and Medical Lab Technology, as well as the following five short-term training programs:

Junior Building Electrician – 390 hrs.
Computer Operator (Basic Computer Application) – 220 hrs.
Mobile Phone Repairer Technician – 390 hrs.
Computer Hardware Technician – 390 hrs.
Caregiver – 390 hrs.

An application proposing the company merger of the above institutions has been submitted, and action is being taken on the application. As per Decision No. 1171 of the 209th meeting of the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training held on 2082/03/17, a task team was formed.

According to the decision of the task team meeting dated 2082/07/23, if anyone has any claim, objection, complaint, or grievance regarding the proposed company merger, they are requested to submit written information with evidence within 35 days from the date this notice is published for the final time in a national-level daily newspaper.

If no complaint is received within the specified period, after the legal time limit expires, the company merger process will proceed as requested. Claims, objections, or complaints received after the deadline will not be subject to any action. This notice has been published for the information of all concerned.
