CTEVT Notice to Warn of Action Against Unauthorized Skill Training Institutions

The Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, has warned that institutions conducting short-term skill-based training on their own without affiliation or approval will face action.
In an attention notice published on April 1, 2026 (2082/12/18 BS), the council stated that it has taken serious note of such activities.
Reason for the Notice
The council issued this notice after receiving public complaints that various institutions have been operating training programs without approval.
It has informed all concerned that the council is the official body authorized to grant affiliation and approval for technical and vocational education and training programs. Therefore, such programs must be operated only after obtaining mandatory approval from the council.
Advisory to Interested Trainees and Parents
The notice also alerts individuals interested in joining training programs and their parents.
Before participating in any training, the council has requested them to make sure whether the institution has received affiliation or approval from the council.
Verification Before Enrollment
Those interested in joining training programs are advised to confirm the institution’s approval status before enrollment.

Warning of Legal Action
The council has clearly stated that if any institution is found operating training programs on its own without approval, action will be taken against such institutions in accordance with prevailing law.
It has also informed all stakeholders that if anyone participates in training operated by such unauthorized institutions, the council office will not be responsible.
