The Secondary Education Examination (SEE) 2082 is set to begin on April 2, 2026 (2082 Chaitra 19 BS).
The examination will continue until 2082 Chaitra 29 BS, according to the information provided.
The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has stated that preparations are underway to begin checking students’ answer sheets within three days after the examination ends.
Ministry’s Plan for Fast Result Publication
Shiva Kumar Sapkota, Joint Secretary and spokesperson for the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, said that answer sheets will be checked within three days this year and that preparations are being made to publish the results within one month.
The National Examinations Board is preparing to issue a circular with a work schedule that allows answer-sheet checking within three days of the end of the SEE examination and publication of the results within one month.
Answer Sheets to Be Checked at Exam Centers
Sapkota said arrangements are being made to check answer sheets at the examination centers themselves.
In previous years, answer sheets were collected in coordination with the district-based Education Development and Coordination Units and then checked at district and provincial levels. This process had caused delays in result publication.
Ministerial Directive and Board Preparation
Minister for Education, Science and Technology Sasmit Pokharel had directed that SEE answer sheets be checked quickly and that the results be published within one month.
Accordingly, the National Examinations Board has made preparations to publish the results within a short period.
Result Processing Procedure
After answer sheets are checked, the district-based Education Development and Coordination Units will send the marks obtained to the board.
The board will then complete data entry and verification before publishing the results.
According to the board, preparations are being made to publish the results by the end of Baisakh 2083 BS.
