SEE 2082 Begins Today; Results Targeted Within One Month
Kathmandu, April 2, 2026 (Chaitra 19, 2082 BS).
The results of the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) 2082, which began today, are expected to be published within one month. The National Examinations Board, under the direction of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, is making preparations for this.
Previously, SEE results were generally published within three months after the completion of the examination.
Last Year’s SEE Result Timeline
Last year, the SEE was conducted from March 28 to April 9, 2025 (Chaitra 15 to Chaitra 27, 2081 BS), and the results were published three months later on June 27, 2025 (Asar 13, 2082 BS).
At that time as well, answer sheet evaluation started only one month after the examination had ended due to a teachers’ protest. Although the results were published within three months, only two months were actually spent on the work directly related to result publication.
This year, Board Member-Secretary Jung Bahadur Aryal said that the results would be published within one month.
Answer Sheets to Be Checked at Exam Centers
According to him, answer sheets will be checked at the same centers where the examinations are conducted in order to publish the results within one month.
However, answer sheets from locations with geographical remoteness and other technical difficulties will be taken to other centers or alternative places for evaluation.
Discussions are ongoing at the ministry to prepare additional procedures for this. He said, “The procedure is being prepared. It will soon be approved and implemented. But the ministry has already directed us to publish the results within one month. We have already started preparing accordingly.”
