
Festa De Kathmandu 2025 Successfully Held at Kathmandu Model College
Kathmandu Model College hosted Festa De Kathmandu 2025, a day-long event featuring musical performances, dance, and cultural showcases.
The program was coordinated by the KMC SQC and organized by the Media Reach Out Club in collaboration with students from the BBA, BBM, and BCA seventh semesters. It took place on Shrawan 17, 2082 (Saturday), from 10 AM to 6 PM, and welcomed nearly 1,000 attendees.
The event began with a welcome speech from Dhruba Prasad Timalsena, Head of Internal Quality Assurance. He spoke about how student-led programs like this help develop creativity and cooperation among participants.
He also acknowledged everyone involved in making the event a success and thanked the sponsors for their support.

Live Performances and Food Stalls
The audience enjoyed music from bands like Rockheads Nepal and Pahelo Battimuni. Visitors also explored food stalls and sponsor booths throughout the day.
Robinson Bhandari, President of the Media Reach Out Club and a BBA seventh-semester student, shared that students from various programs also gave musical performances.
Event Hosting and Closing Reflections
The event was hosted by Divya Gyawali, Subeksha Adhikari, and Jyoti Kharel.
Sagar Kharel, Program Coordinator for BBA and BBM, said the event gave students a chance to share their ideas and talents while working together. He noted that it showed the college’s continued encouragement of student leadership and cultural learning.
