KMC Seeks Public Feedback on School Name, Location, and Ownership Changes
Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has issued a public call for feedback on requests from several institutional schools to change their name, location, or ownership.
In a notice released by the Education Department on Tuesday, KMC invited anyone concerned—whether individuals or institutions—to submit written claims or objections within 35 days of the notice date.
Why This Notice Was Issued
Some schools have already started the process of making these changes through the Office of the Company Registrar and have now formally applied to KMC. The city is giving stakeholders an opportunity to raise any concerns and provide evidence before moving ahead with approvals.
KMC has clarified that if no objections are received within the given time frame, the process will continue as per the applicants’ requests. However, the notice itself is not the final approval for any change.
