According to Board Member Secretary Jang Bahadur Aryal, the Class 12 result was published after the meeting held at 8:00 AM. According to the board, 69.75 percent of examinees in the regular category passed this year.
The Class 12 examination was conducted from 2083 Jestha 14 to 27. A total of 418,170 examinees participated in the examination. Of them, 332,241 students participated under the regular category, and 85,929 students participated under the partial category, according to the National Examinations Board.
Although the government had directed the result to be published within 45 days, the board published the result before the stipulated deadline. Earlier, the SEE result had also been published within 29 days. The government had directed that the SEE examination result be published within one month.
