SEE Grade Increment and Supplementary Exam Results 2082 Published

The National Examination Board (NEB), Sanothimi, Bhaktapur has officially published the results of the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) Grade Increment and Supplementary Exam 2082. The results were released on Ashoj 11, 2082 (Saturday).

Participation and Pass Rate

According to NEB, a total of 143,257 students participated in the grade increment examination. Among them, 83,563 students passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 58.33%, as informed by Tukraj Adhikari, Controller of Examination (Class 10).

GPA Distribution

  • GPA 3.60 to 4.00: 26 students

  • GPA 2.40 to 2.80: 51,403 students (highest number)

  • GPA 1.60 to 2.00: 45 students

Previous SEE Results

The results of the regular SEE examination were published earlier on Asar 13, 2082. In that examination, 438,896 students appeared, and 61.81% (271,299 students) passed. The grade increment examination was an opportunity for those who were unable to pass the regular exam.

Combined Pass Percentage

When the results of the regular and grade increment examinations are combined, the overall pass percentage of SEE stands at 80.85%. This means that only 20% of students who appeared in both exams are not eligible for enrollment in Class 11.

Class 11 Admission

At present, most schools have already started Class 11 classes and even completed the first trimester examinations. Students who passed the grade increment examination will be able to enroll in Class 11 only after the Chhath festival.

Supplementary Exam Details

As per the decision of the Board dated 2082-06-11, the results of the SEE Supplementary Examination held from 2082-05-29 to 2082-06-06 have also been made public. Out of the total participants, 83,564 students have been classified (graded), while 59,693 students remain unclassified.

Congratulations have been extended to all classified students, and best wishes have been offered to those who will appear again in future examinations.

Result Viewing Arrangements

  • Results are available through various institutions’ websites, IVR, and SMS/USSD services.

  • Candidates can view results at www.neb.gov.np and www.see.gov.np.

  • Symbol number and date of birth must be entered to check and download gradesheets.

  • Results are accessible through the websites of Nepal Telecom, Examination Control Office Grade 10, and NEB Central Office.

Note: This result is for information purposes only. The gradesheet issued by the Examination Control Office is considered the official document.

Grading System

As per the Letter Grading Directive 2078 (with amendments):

  • Students must score at least 35% in external theoretical exams and 40% in internal assessment.

  • For 75 full-mark subjects, a minimum of 27 marks is required.

  • For 50 full-mark subjects, a minimum of 18 marks is required.

  • For internal 50 full-mark subjects, a minimum of 20 marks is required.

  • For internal 25 full-mark subjects, a minimum of 10 marks is required.

Grades have been assigned based on this system.

Result Recheck (Re-totaling)

  • Students dissatisfied with their results can apply online for re-totaling and re-checking of answer sheets.

  • Applications can be submitted for specific subjects via the official website of the Examination Control Office.

  • The application window is open from 2082-06-11 to 2082-06-29 until 5 PM.

  • Students whose results from the 2081 regular examination under the grade improvement group were withheld and who could not apply earlier can also apply now.

  • If students face difficulty applying online, they can visit the Examination Control Office directly to submit their applications.

Error Correction

If any technical errors are identified in the result publication, they will be corrected from the main record at the Examination Control Office, Grade 10.

Name, Age, and Surname Correction

  • If the name, age, or surname is incorrect, it can be corrected based on the admit card until another provision is made.

  • If discrepancies exist in the admit card itself, corrections can be made within five years of result publication with a decision letter from the concerned Chief District Officer.
