Post: Psychosocial Counselor (equivalent to fifth level)
Number of Positions: 1 (one); women will be given special priority.
Minimum Qualification, Experience and Skills:

Completed Health Assistant or Staff Nurse from a recognized educational institution, or
-
Completed a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in Public Health, Nursing, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or Health Education, or
-
Completed Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling.
-
Special priority will be given to candidates who have completed 6 months’ training related to psychosocial counselling and hold a certificate from the National Health Training Center.

Basic knowledge and experience in computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email/Internet).
For Psychosocial Counselors working under the SaMi Programme:
-
Passed at least Proficiency Certificate Level or 10+2 or equivalent.

Completed 6 months’ training related to psychosocial counselling from the National Health Training Center.
-
Obtained a certificate from the same training center.
-
Listed in the Training Information Management System of the National Health Training Center.

Additional Information
1. Type of Examination: Written examination and oral interview (for Returnee Volunteer, interview only).
2. Age Limit: 18 (eighteen) years for men; 40 (forty) years in the case of women.
3. Application Fee: NPR 800 for all posts, and NPR 500 for Returnee Volunteer.
4. Application Form Availability: Application forms can be obtained from the Office of the Rural Municipal Executive.
