Vacancy Announcement for Breast Cancer implementation Project (Breast-CAN): BP Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital (BPKMCH) in collaboration with the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) / WHO is currently seeking qualified Nepali professionals for an implementation project, which is funded by Union for International Cancer Control (UICC).
This is an implementation project entitled 'Education and training of primary health care workers to improve the patient pathway for early detection of breast cancer (Breast-CAN)'
This project aims
(i) To educate and train Primary Health Care Workers (PHCWs) about the recognition of breast cancer symptoms,
(ii) To educate and train Female Community Healthy Volunteers (FCHVs) about the recognition of breast cancer symptoms.
(iii) To train PHCWs and FCHVs about the referral mechanism of the existing health care system in relation to early diagnosis of breast cancer, and
(iv) To train PHCWs about advocating women visiting health facility about the importance of early diagnosis of breast cancer This project will focus on improving the patient pathway for early diagnosis of breast cancer

Job description:
The project coordinator will be involved in every step of the project implementation including preparation of the training manuals, conduction of training, regular field visits, logistic management, data management, monitoring and supervision of the project, as well as in the preparation of project report and scientific publication Eligibility' At least master's degree in public health. medicine, nursing, or related discipline with at least 2 years of working experience in health-related project management
Skills required:
• Writing and speaking proficiency in both English and Nepali language
• Ability to work with MS-Office packages (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Working experience with provincial or local government institutions and concerned stakeholders.
