CRS is an international NGO based in the United States that works in over 100 countries to promote human development by responding to major emergencies, fighting disease and poverty, and nurturing peaceful and just societies. CRS Nepal implements earthquake recovery and resilience programming in Gorkha and Okhaldhunga districts to provide technical support for the reconstruction of earthquake resilient houses, livelihood recovery and WASH. USAID funded additional livelihood technical assistance program in province 3,5,6 and 7. The Housing Recovery and Reconstruction Platform (HRRP) is led by CRS Nepal from March 2017.

CRS Nepal invites applications from interested Nepalese citizens for the following position:

Project Engineer - Construction Management (1 Position-Based in Gorkha): Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Architecture or a related field. Minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible civil engineering experience, including supervisory experience, or, an equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional education on the construction management and experience in the management of the building construction project and rural setting will be an asset. Experience with humanitarian recovery and reconstruction programs and with coordinating and liaising with the local government a plus. Knowledge on the rural Masonry building with experience in the construction of stone masonry building in a rural setting. Experience in using AutoCAD, supervising detail drawings and their presentations.
