CRS is an international NGO based in the United States that works in over 100 countries to promote human development by responding to major emergencies, fighting disease and poverty, and nurturing peaceful and just societies. CRS Nepal implements earthquake recovery and resilience programming in Gorkha and Okhaldhunga districts to provide technical support for the reconstruction of earthquake resilient houses, livelihood recovery and WASH. CRS is also carrying out a USAID supported livelihood technical assistance program in province 3,5,6 and 7. The Housing Recovery and Reconstruction Platform (HRRP) is led by CRS Nepal from March 2017. CRS plans to extend its recovery and resilient program in Kavre District (KRRP).

This position is required to implement KRRP activities. The final selection of the candidate is subject to the approval of the program from the NRA.

CR5 Nepal invites applications from interested Nepalese citizens for the following position:

Project Engineer (1 Position-Based in Kavre):

Minimum Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field, Master's degree in urban planning and development specific discipline would be a plus. Minimum of 4 years of work experience in similar roles, in Civil Engineering. Urban reconstruction experience is required. Experience in using AutoCAD, supervising detail drawings and their presentations. Experience with I/NGO and coordinating and liaising with local government is preferable.

Housing Land Property Officer (1 Position-Based in Kavre):

Minimum Bachelor's degree in social, political sciences and law, Master's Degree is preferred. Minimum of 4 years of work experience in roles dealing with housing, land and property issues. Familiarity with Housing, Land and Property laws, procedures and practices in Nepal and experience in liaising strong relationships with diverse stakeholders i.e. legal institutes, local government, and policymakers is required, experience with local government is a plus.
