Kathmandu-Terai / Madhesh Fast Track Vacancy for Engineers (Highway, Bride Design and Tunnel)

Government of Nepal, Ministry of Defence, Nepal Army, Kathmandu-Terai/Madhesh Fast Track (Expressway) Road Project, Jangi Adda, Kathmandu Notification regarding manpower requirements in contract services. This notice is published for the appointment of eligible candidates through open competition in contractual service to the following posts required for the Kathmandu-Terai/Madhesh Fast Track (Expressway) Road Project.

Within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of publication of the notice, the eligible candidate should submit a written application with copies of all educational qualification certificates, copies of Nepali citizenship certificates, copies of experience certificates, recent passport-size photographs, and 2 (two) Nepali copies and attached all document on file and submit the application in person at the Kathmandu-Tarai / Madhesh Expressway Project Office at Nityakali Shibir Jangi Adda.

1. Highway Engineer
Number of Position	1 (One)
Required Qualifications:	Master's Degree in Highway/ Transportation Engineering.
Required Professional Experience	10 years
Specific Experience	7 years' experience in Road/ Highway/ Expressway works. Experience in design of at least one Road/ Highway/ Expressway projects of more than 15 KM. Length each completed project/project under construction. Experience of using highway design software. Experience in construction supervision of Road/ Highway/ Expressway works.
2. Bridge Design Engineer
Number of Position	2 (Two)
Required Qualifications	Master's Degree in Bridge / Structural Engineering
Required Professional Experience	10 years
Specific Experience	5 years' experience in Road/ Highway/ Expressway projects. 2 years' experience in bridge design works. Experience of working as a Structural Engineer in at least two Road/ Highway/ Expressway bridges. Experience of using bridge design software. Experience in construction supervision of at least two Road/ Highway/ Expressway bridges.
3. Tunnel Engineer
Number of Position	1 (One)
Required Qualifications	Master's Degree in Tunnel/ Geotechnical Engineering
Professional Experience	10 years
Specific Experience	Experience of Supervision works of at least one Road/ Highway/ Expressway/ Hydropower tunnel completed project/ project under construction. 3 years' experience in the performance of tunnel works. Experience of using tunnel design software. Experience of Tunnel design works (preferable).

4) Candidates with Ph.D. in the relevant subject will be accepted if they have 8 (eight) years of work experience.
