Nepal Eye Program (NEP)/Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology (T10), a centre of excellence in comprehensive eye care service delivery including training; research; intraocular lens manufacturing facility; eye bank and community program is currently looking for qualified Nepali candidates to apply for the following position:
1. Position: Ophthalmic Assistant (Level-5B);
Number of requirements: Two.
Work station: Outreach CECs.
Modes of Hiring: Time bound.
Minimum requirements:
- Diploma in Ophthalmic science.
- Registered with Nepal Health Professional Council.
- Good interpersonal skills and willingness to work in additional & flexible time.
2. Position: Junior Assistant-QA/QC (Level-4);
Number of requirements: Three;
Work Station: FH IOL Lab
Modes of Hiring: Time bound.
Minimum requirements:
- Intermediate/10+2 Level in Science.
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft office and relevant experience are preferred.
- Individual should perform QC inspection, sampling, testing and release of incoming raw materials, in-process/intermediate products and finished products.
3. Position: Support Senior-Production (Level-2)
Requirement: Three;
Work Station: FH IOL Lab.
Modes of Hiring: Time bound
Minimum requirements:
- Grade 8 or Primary Education with two years' experience in related field.
- Able to understand, read and write in English and perform basic mathematical calculation, work in team and in early morning and late evening duties.
- Individual should perform all manufacturing process activities of 10Ls, CTRs & Injectors and cartridges.
