Since the vacant chief executive officer's post in the Nepal Reinsurance Company will be promoted through open competition, this notice is published by the competent Nepali citizen who has acquired the following educational qualifications and experience, within 21 days of the date of publication. Has been

1. Minimum educational qualification, experience, age, and other criteria:

1.1. Minimum Educational Qualification and Experience: Interested Nepalese citizen with the following qualifications and experience as mentioned in the provision to be appointed Executive Head of Article 28 of Paragraph 5 of the Insurance Code, 2075 issued by the Insurance Committee to fulfill the specific requirements of the Company.

1.1.1. Having obtained at least a Masters or Bachelor's Degree in Insurance, Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, Law, Mathematics, Statistics or Engineering, with a minimum of five years in the insurance level, eight in the bank or financial sector, and one year in insurance in both fields. Persons allowed for at least seven years.

Or

Graduated with a degree in Chartered Accountancy, Management, Insurance, Economics, Commerce, Statistics, Accounting, Mathematics, Business Administration or Law, at least at the administrator level, with a minimum of twelve, fifteen in the bank or financial sector, and at least one year with experience in insurance in both fields. A person with thirteen years’ experience.

"Manager" means a listed company or an official of the Government of Nepal owned by a second or equivalent or above.

1.2. Age: 65 years old

1.3. Other criteria:

Other criteria, as prescribed by the Insurance Committee's Institutional Governance Guidelines, 2075, have been fulfilled.

  1. Documents and statements to be submitted along with the application:

Application for the post of Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (Outside the Envelope) The application should be registered in the company's office with two seals sealed separately stating the business plan:

2.1. At the end of each sheet of detailed personal details (BIODATA) including educational qualification, permit, contact address (email, telephone, mobile number, home, and work address), the candidate must sign and submit two passport size photographs.

2.2. Applicants will have to submit a copy of their certificate of Nepalese citizenship and certificate of educational qualification and proof of experience.

2.3. The candidate will have to submit his application along with two copy business plans and a soft copy of the business plan prepared in the five thousand words related to Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited.

  1. The applicant will have to prove and attach the following written statement to the applicant himself.

3.1. Not a member of any political party,

3.2. There is no involvement of himself or any of his family members in this company's contractual or real estate business, or there is no personal interest in his name, no personal recollection in his name, no criminal conviction in a criminal indictment of corruption, property cleansing or moral deception,

3.3 Not punished or punished for dishonesty or fraud;

3.5. Unless the trusts of banks and financial institutions are blacklisted in accordance with the prevailing law,

3.6. The Insurance Act, 2049 and the Insurance Regulatory Guidelines on Institutional Governance, 2075 were eligible and not ineligible as per other instructions issued by the Insurance Committee. Failure to submit a false statement or document will result in legal action.

Submitting a Business Plan:

3.2. When preparing a Business Plan, the Chief Executive Officer should be prepared on the basis of the job description (TOR) as well as the following points: 

4.1.1. The international scenario of the insurance and reinsurance sector:

Identification of the strong and weak aspects and areas to improve based on the international insurance and reinsurance scenario and analysis of Nepal's existing insurance and reinsurance situation, historical background of Nepal reinsurance, the performance of the company's past years and overall financial condition shown by the financial statements.
