We invite applications from interested candidates with priority from females, minority and youth groups for the following positions:

1. Program Specialist

(Fixed-Term Employment of 2 years from date of employment) based in Regional Office- East (Janakpur)

Responsibility:

Oversee and ensure a high-quality project implementation, in both development and humanitarian settings, and achieve targets towards Plan’s requirements through overall management of the implementing partners in the respective areas and districts, under the direct supervision of Program Manager; Represent Plan in various forums in the respective sector/s including in government at municipal, district and provincial level and other stakeholders; Work closely with Program Quality and Innovation Department to enhance the technical quality of program implementation and to provide necessary field information in developing winning proposals and with Influencing, Campaigns and Communications Department to advance Plan’s campaigns

2. Project Officer- Child, Not Bride Project

(Maternity coverage of 6 months until October 2024) based in Regional Office-East (Janakpur)

Responsibility:

Support Project Manager to oversee and ensure a high-quality project implementation, in both development and humanitarian settings, and achieve targets towards Plan’s and/or donor’s requirements through overall management of the implementing partners within project in the respective areas and districts, under the direct supervision of Project Manager; Work closely with the S/TA and Program Specialists Learn, Engage and Decide and Thrive of Country Office and Regional Office, East to enhance the capacity and skill of the partner NGO, local government and other key duty bearers and also to ensure the quality of the project delivery at the field level.

3. Finance Coordinator-YEED Project

(Fixed-term employment until 31 August 2025) based in Office Regional Office-East (Janakpur)

Responsibility:

Responsible for the effective finance management and to ensure compliance with the policies and procedures within the organization and as required by the donor; Primarily responsible for the financial management of Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship Development (YEED)/ Dakshya Yuwa Project in Dhanusha and Sindhuli District; Maintain good coordination with the Country Office and National Office project finance teams.
