In Nepal, Swisscontact is registered as an International Non-Governmental Organization that started its operations in 1991 with the initiation of the Training Institute for Technical Instruction programme. Currently, Swisscontact Nepal has five development programmes across all seven provinces, with a well-functioning country office that employs over 50 national and international staff members.
Swisscontact invites applications from committed and experienced Nepali citizens for the following position for the second phase of the Nepal Vocational Qualifications System Project (NVQS-P).
1. Position: Deputy Team Leader (Planning and Result Measurement) - Bhaktapur Based
Required Qualification, Experience, and Skills:
- Master's or higher degree in a relevant field (Education, TVET, Management, Business Studies)
- Minimum of 10 years of work experience in relevant field (management of TVET training institution or project management) including three years experience of in Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation of development activities.
- At least three years of experience in working with federal, provincial, and local governments in the management, organisation development, and implementation process.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.
- Knowledge and work experience in Human Resource Management.
2. Position: Technical Coordinators - 02 (each in NVQS Province Office at Karnali and Sudurpashchim Provinces)
Required Education and Experience :
- Master's degree in relevant field (Education, TVET, Workforce Education, Management Business/Development Studies).
- Minimum of five years of work experience (including at least two years of management experience) in a relevant field (i.e. development cooperation and/or, TVET sector programs).
3. Position: Technical Officers - 02 (each in NVQS Province Office at Karnali and Sudurpashchim Provinces)
Required Education and Experience :
- Bachelor's or higher degree in a relevant field (Education, Management, Business/Development Studies).
- Minimum of three years of work experience (including at least two years of experience in project monitoring particularly in TVET programs/projects) in the relevant field.
4. Position: Technical Assistant 01 (Sudurpashchim Province with frequent visits to Karnali Province)
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in the relevant field (Management, Social Science, Business Administration, Development Studies).
- Minimum two years of work experience in the development sector, private sector, and/or NGOs or development projects/programs.
