1) Institutional Development Specialist (Bachelor/Master with 10+ years of relevant experience): Minimum of 7 years of experience in programming and technical assistance, preferably in governance and disaster risk reduction/disaster risk management contexts in Nepal; 3 years of experience working with public sector institutions in reform processes in Nepal; Bachelor's Degree in public administration, public policy, law, political science, governance or related social science fields. Master's degree strongly preferred.
2) Policy Specialist (Bachelor/Master with 5+ years of relevant experience): Minimum of 5 years of experience, ideally for international organization(s), advising on Government of Nepal policies, practices and procedures related to disaster risk reduction/disaster risk management; Bachelor's degree in political, social, economic, business management or other related social science field is required. Master's degree preferred.
3) Public Awareness Specialist (Master with 7+ years of relevant experience): Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience in public information operations, public relations, and civic education is essential; Master's degree in media, Public Relations, Political Science, Social Science.
4) Land Use Planning Specialist (Bachelor/Master with 5+ years of relevant experience): Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical and managerial oversight to develop participatory, evidence-based land-use plans for municipalities/communities in Nepal and 5 years in developing and applying data-driven decision-making tools that improve the capacity of government and constituents to establish effective, risk-sensitive disaster risk plans in Nepal; Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field. Master's degree strongly preferred.
5) Knowledge Management Specialist (Bachelor/Master with 5+ years of relevant experience): Minimum of 5 years of experience in research, documentation, and development of knowledge products; Experience developing information and knowledge management tools in various technical disciplines (engineering, science, social science); Bachelor's degree in Natural or Social Science is required. Master's degree strongly preferred.
61 Communications Specialist (Bachelor With 3+ years of relevant experience): Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in the development of knowledge products; Experience in managing the preparation of communications materials in support of international donor-funded projects; Bachelor's degree in journalism, Communications, Marketing or a related field.
7) Trainina Specialist (Bachelor/Master with 7+ years of relevant experience): Minimum of 7 years of experience in the development of training modules and materials such as handbooks, case studies, scenarios, group exercises related to disaster risk reduction and/or closely related topics, and 7 years conducting disaster management/emergency response related trainings; Bachelor's degree in a related field. Master's degree preferred; Experience in international donor-funded projects preferred.
8)Local Coordinators (Bachelor with 3+ years of relevant experience): Minimum of 3 years conducting disaster management/emergency response related capacity development and training; Experience in researching and implementing training tools, methodologies, skills and emerging fields related to Disaster Risk Management; Bachelor's degree in related field.
9) Earthquake Resilience/Building Code Specialist (Bachelor/Master with 7+ years of relevant experience): Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in earthquake-related resilience/DRR initiatives in Nepal: Experience collaborating with partners and networks including the policy landscape of DRR; Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or a closely related engineering field. Master's preferred; Experience in training and capacity building (International donor-funded projects preferred). 101 Flood Forecasting/Early Warning System Specialist (Bachelor/Master with 7+ years of relevant experience): Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in flood forecasting/Early Warning System (EWS) - related resilience/DRR initiatives in Nepal; Experience collaborating with partners and networks including the policy landscape of DRR; Bachelor's Degree in environmental or Civil Engineering, Natural Resources Management, or a closely related engineering field.
11) Infectious Disease Specialist (Master with 7+ years of relevant experience): Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in infectious disease and public health policies and strategies in Nepal; Sound technical experience in the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of infectious disease control programs; Master's degree in public health or a related field.
12) Geographic Information Systems Specialist (Bachelor with 5+ years of relevant experience): 7+ years of experience with spatial planning including GIS analyses; Prior experience in Environmental Analysis and Mapping by mapping locations of natural features and phenomena such as soil type, forestation, species, waterways, and floodplains; Bachelor in GIS, Geography or related field.
13) IT Hardware Personnel (Bachelor/M. Sc. in relevant field with 5 years of experience): Familiarity with designing, installing, interconnecting, ensuring security, and undertaking regular maintenance of office computer, printing, and communication hardware including voice and data communication with field offices and worksites.
14) MIS Expert (M.. Sc. in Information Technology with 5 years of experience): Familiarity with designing, setting up, interconnecting and maintaining databases in a professional environment including cloud and web-based databases and GIS. 151 Senior Quality/Material Engineer (B.Sc./ M.Sc. in Civil Engineering: 10 years of experience): Wide experience in the supervision and operation of materials testing laboratories - 5 years of experience as a materials engineer.
16) Senior Cost/Quantity Engineer (Civil Engineering Degree: 10 years of experience): Experience in the contract and procurement management - 5 years of experience as Cost/Quantity Engineer in the building construction sector.
17) Structural Design Engineers (M. Sc. in Structural Engineering): 5 years of experience): Adept in using structural analysis software (ETABS, STAADPRO, SAP2000, SAFE) - Experience with building codes in practice (NBC, IBC, UBC, etc.). 181 Resident Engineer (M.
