The USAID/Nepal-funded KISAN II project is improving food security in twenty-four districts covering provinces 3, 5, 6 and 7 of the country. The purpose of the project is to increase resilience inclusiveness and sustainability of income growth in the Feed the Future Zones of Influence. KISAN II invites application from eligible and interested Nepalese citizens for the following position:
Position: AREA COORDINATOR (District based- outside Kathmandu)
Required Qualification & Experience:
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Agriculture Science with Major in Horticulture or Agronomy or Agriculture Economics with at least 3 years of field experience in implementation of market-oriented agriculture production program, Monitoring, documentation and reporting of the progress including finances and hands-on experience in working closely with the rural communities, the private sector and government agencies.
