Applicants selecting Nepali Education must have completed Grade 12 or PCL with Nepali as a major subject carrying at least 200 marks.
Applicants selecting English Education must meet one of the following conditions:
Grade 12 or PCL with English or Linguistics as a major subject
At least 50 percent marks in General English
At least 50 percent marks in the entrance examination conducted by the concerned department
Applicants selecting Mathematics Education must have completed Grade 12 or PCL with Mathematics as a major subject carrying at least 200 marks.
Minor subjects, except the specified science combination, are generally open to students from different Grade 11, Grade 12, or PCL study backgrounds. The selected minor must be different from the major subject.
