Overview
Kageshwori Manohara Municipality, also known as Kageshwori Nagarpalika, is a local government area in Kathmandu district, Bagmati Pradesh. The municipality was incorporated on Mangsir 16, 2071 (2nd Dec. 2014) by the decision of the Council of Ministers of the Government of Nepal. It was formed by combining Gothatar, Mulpani, Danchhi, Bhadrabas, Alapot, and Gagalfedi.

Location and Boundaries
Kageshwori Manohara Municipality lies in the north-eastern part of Kathmandu. It is part of Kathmandu Valley, which includes Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Lalitpur.
The municipality is bordered by Shankharapur Municipality of Kathmandu and Changunarayan Municipality of Bhaktapur district in the east. Ward number 32 of Kathmandu Metropolitan City and Gokarneshwor Municipality lie to the west. Shankharapur and Gokarneshwor municipalities are located to the north, while Madhyapur Thimi of Bhaktapur district lies to the south.
