Grade 11 Subject Registration Open: Only Students with Minimum 1.6 GPA in SEE Eligible

The National Examination Board (NEB), Office of the Controller of Examinations (Grade 11 and 12), Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, has published a notice regarding the submission of Subject Registration forms and Online Entry for students enrolled in Grade 11 in the academic session 2083/84.

According to the Board's notice, only students who have obtained a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 1.6 in the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) are eligible to fill out the Grade 11 Subject Registration application form.

Rules and Deadlines for Subject Registration

  • Required document: A copy of the Grade 10 Secondary Education Examination (SEE) gradesheet, certified by the principal of the concerned school, must be attached to the Subject Registration application form.

  • Fee and deadline: Students must deposit the fee without a late charge, at Rs. 400 per student, by 2083 Ashoj 30. Students who are unable to deposit the amount within that period must deposit the fee with a late charge, at Rs. 800 per student, in the account of the concerned Board office by 2083 Mangsir 1. If the specified final date falls on a public holiday, the deadline will be the next working day when the office opens.

  • Deadline for schools to submit forms: The concerned schools must ensure that no student's form is omitted and submit the bank voucher or Online Payment voucher along with the Subject Registration application forms to the concerned Board office by 2083 Mangsir 7.

  • Additional subjects: Students wishing to study an additional subject must clearly mention the subject they want to study in the Subject Registration form.

  • Online Entry arrangements: The Subject Registration form must be completed by the student personally. The concerned school must enter the details online through the “Subject Registration (Grade 11)” section available on the Board's website, neb.gov.np, from 2083 Ashoj 7 to 2083 Mangsir 6.

  • For newly affiliated schools: Schools that have newly received affiliation to conduct Grade 11 classes must obtain a school code to enter students' Subject Registration details. The Board has requested such schools to contact the concerned Board offices and complete the Online Entry process.

The Controller of Examinations has also requested all offices of the National Examination Board to inform schools within their respective jurisdictions about the notice and ensure that the required procedures are carried out accordingly.
