Bardaghat Municipality Begins Education Quality Improvement Drive

Bardaghat Municipality in West Nawalparasi has launched a campaign to improve educational quality. Mayor Shambhu Lal Shrestha expressed confidence that the “Not teaching, but enabling learning” campaign will add positive energy among teachers and bring qualitative improvement to overall educational standards.

Three-Day Motivational Training for Teachers

As part of this initiative, the municipality has conducted a three-day practical motivational training targeted at teachers.

In this training, instructor Harish Oli provided sessions on prayer management and positive thinking for both students and teachers. Deputy Mayor Rudra Prakash Upadhyaya stated that the training would be beneficial in developing good culture among students and in emphasising positive thinking.

Core Message of the Motivational Training

Overall, the main message of the motivational training is to provide practical education that encourages students to respect teachers and parents, and to transform the teaching–learning process.

Chief Administrative Officer Baburam Paudel said that the focus is on improving the quality of community schools and orienting teaching methods towards the goal of “not just teaching, but enabling learning.”

The municipality has stated that the core message of the training is to transform teaching and learning, and to provide practical education that nurtures respect among students towards teachers and parents.

Emphasising that it is essential to make every teacher, student, and parent responsible for educational reform, the municipality has called on all stakeholders to actively engage in this campaign.
