Secondary Level Teaching License Application Notice

Government of Nepal, Teacher Service Commission (TSC - Shikshak Sewa Aayog), Secondary Level (MaVi) Teaching License Application Notice.

In accordance with Rule 9, Sub-rule (1), Clause (g), and Rule 9, Sub-rule (7) of the Teacher Service Commission Rules, 2057 (including amendments), this advertisement is published for the information of all concerned that individuals meeting the prescribed minimum qualifications and having the prescribed training who wish to obtain a Secondary Level Teaching License may apply through the Commission's official online application system at https://license.tsc.gov.np/.

When applying online, after submitting personal details and the required documents, and paying the revenue fee, no submitted documents can be modified/amended, added/removed.

It is also notified that the online application must be submitted only after ensuring personal details and the documents to be submitted are correct. 

If any discrepancies are found during the verification of any certificates submitted by the candidate, even at the time of publication of this examination's results, or otherwise, such applications will be canceled by the Commission.

  6. Age Limit: Must have completed 18 years of age by the last date of application submission.

  7. Mode of Application: Application must be submitted online for the level advertised through the online application system. The application can be submitted through the Commission's official website https://license.tsc.gov.np/ by clicking and accessing the online application system. Detailed information about the application submission process can be found in the user manual available in the Commission’s license application portal.

  8. Examination Date and Time: 2082 Kartik 22, at 1:00 PM in the afternoon.

  9. Examination Center: Districts where the provincial capital is located and other districts as specified by the Commission as required. Further details will be published later on the Commission's website.

Bank and Payment Procedure

  • The form must be filled through the Commission’s online portal and submitted.

  • Before submitting the form, make sure that no details are missing or that no document is left to be included.

  • After confirmation, click on “Submitted Application Details.”

  • Once the application fee has been paid, no details of the applicant can be changed; therefore, make sure all details are correct.

  • Then, to pay the fee, click on “Click Here to Pay.”

  • In the Bank Option, select either “Rastriya Banijya Bank” or “Nepal Bank Limited.”

  • After selecting the bank, click “Get Voucher.”

  • Once the voucher is generated, print it and pay the specified amount at the respective bank within the stipulated time.

  • For online payment, after voucher generation, click on the “Pay Online” button on the same page.

  • Then the online voucher will be generated and options will appear for Connect IPS, E-Sewa, Khalti, and IME Pay.

  • Click on any one option among Connect IPS, E-Sewa, Khalti, or IME Pay.

  • Then click on “Pay Amount.”

  • After that, enter the username and password of the selected option, and if the details match your name, deposit the specified amount (single or double fee as per the specified date) for the payment.

  • The application will be confirmed only after ensuring that the payment has been made.

  • The Commission will publish a notice after the application deadline for viewing and printing the admit card. For this, your email, candidate code, and password must be kept safely.

Application Fee Submission Period

  • For applications with the regular fee: The voucher generated from the revenue information system must be printed by 2082/05/29 at 11:59 PM and the fee mentioned in the voucher must be deposited compulsorily within banking hours on 2082/05/30.

  • For applications with the double fee: The voucher generated from the revenue information system must be printed by 2082/06/05 at 11:59 PM and the fee mentioned in the voucher must be deposited compulsorily within banking hours on 2082/06/06.

  • If the dates 2082/05/30 or 2082/06/06 fall on a public holiday, payment can be made on the next working day after the office opens.

Minimum Required Qualifications

(a) Nepali citizen.

(b) Not disqualified under Rule 6(1)(gha) of the Teacher Service Commission Rules (including amendments) and meeting the qualifications under Rule 9(1)(g) and 9(7).

(c) Persons with qualifications higher than the prescribed minimum academic qualification may also apply.

Documents to be Uploaded

  • Citizenship certificate

  • Recently taken photograph

  • Signature specimen

  • Academic transcript of the minimum qualification

  • Training certificate

  • Equivalency certificate (in case of studies from foreign educational institutions)

All documents must be scanned and uploaded in JPEG/PNG format (maximum 200 KB, minimum 75 KB) in the location specified by the online application system.

(a) As the written examination will be held on the same date and time, the province from which the applicant wishes to participate in the examination must be selected in the application form. However, one person may not apply in more than one province.

(b) Applications not submitted within the time prescribed by the Commission, not meeting the minimum qualification, not providing the required details, not paying the prescribed fee, not meeting the requirements, or submitted with any condition will not be processed.

(c) The period for the double fee will not be counted for the purpose of calculating age, academic qualification, and training.

(d) Persons with disabilities who cannot write by themselves (blind, ‘G’ category low vision, and those unable to use both hands) may request an assistant writer. The assistant writer must have at least one level lower than the minimum qualification prescribed (except those who have passed the certificate level or equivalent in Education) and will be provided from the roster at the Education Development and Coordination Unit in the concerned district where the exam center is located.

(e) The syllabus (published on 2078/12/02) can be downloaded from the Commission’s website www.tsc.gov.np by clicking on “Download.”
