
MTU and Amity University Patna Sign Educational Cooperation MoU
Amity University, Patna, and Manmohan Technical University (MTU) of Koshi Province have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for academic and technical cooperation.
The agreement was signed between the School of Training and Learning of Amity University and the School of Applied Science, Technology, and Law of MTU.
Areas of Cooperation
According to the MoU, Amity and MTU will collaborate in the fields of academic programs, research, training, and student exchange.
Joint projects in science, technology, and engineering will be conducted along with workshops, seminars, and internships to provide students with practical opportunities.
MTU will connect Nepali students to international-level training, study, and research, while Amity will take responsibility for curriculum development, conducting training programs, and providing technical resources.
Signing of the MoU
On behalf of MTU, the MoU was signed jointly by Registrar Dr. Dilanath Phuyal and Institute of Law Principal Koshraj Nyaupane, while on behalf of Amity, it was signed by Registrar Dr. N. K. Yadav and Head of Law Department Dr. Rajiv Ranjan Jha.
The signing ceremony was attended by Amity Vice-Chancellor Prof. Archana Thakur, Head of the Law Department Prof. Rajiv Rai, and other senior officials. From MTU, Registrar Dr. Dilanath Phuyal, Principal Koshraj Nyaupane, and other officials were present.
Implementation and Duration
According to MTU Registrar Dr. Phuyal, the MoU will initially be effective for three to five years and can be renewed upon mutual agreement.
He added that the collaboration between Amity University Patna and MTU Nepal will contribute to international academic cooperation, student exchange, and educational excellence.
MTU’s Growing International Partnerships
Established by the Koshi Province Government in 2076 BS, Manmohan Technical University has rapidly expanded its academic collaborations with international universities.
Previously, MTU signed MoUs with Guwahati University in Assam and West Bengal University in India.
In addition, experts from universities in India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan have been invited as resource faculty members to conduct classes.
Last month, students of MTU’s Faculty of Law visited Amity University to learn about the Indian Constitution, legal systems, and judicial procedures.
Future Goals
MTU has set a target to become a well-recognized technical university in South Asia within the next ten years.
