The Higher Institutions and Secondary Schools’ Association Nepal (HISSAN), Lalitpur, has honored schools and colleges that achieved outstanding results in the National Examination Board (NEB) Grade 12 examination of 2082 BS. United Academy was also among the institutions honored after four of its students achieved this year’s highest 3.96 GPA.
Lalitpur Metropolitan City Deputy Mayor Manjali Shakya Bajracharya attended the recognition program, held at Crystal Banquet in Manbhawan, as the chief guest. The program provided a common platform to honor the academic achievements of students and institutions from HISSAN Lalitpur’s member schools and colleges.

The four United Academy students who scored a 3.96 GPA are Aman Pandey, Adhish Jung Thapa, and Bishika KC from the Science stream, and Subash Maharjan from the Management stream. Students from two different streams achieving results among the best in the country has been regarded as a significant accomplishment.
United Academy Principal Dr. Lala Rapacha congratulated the students on their outstanding results and quoted Greek philosopher Aristotle. He said, “The roots of education are bitter, but the fruit is sweet, and now our students are tasting that same sweet fruit.”
Bishika KC, one of the students who achieved the highest GPA, thanked everyone involved, saying that the achievement would not have been possible without the continuous love and guidance of her parents, teachers, and the United Academy family. Similarly, another outstanding student, Adhish Jung Thapa, said that years of hard work, learning, and encouragement were behind the success and expressed his commitment to maintaining the same diligence and discipline in the days ahead.
While the highest GPA in the previous academic session was 3.90, United Academy improved its result to 3.96 GPA in 2082 BS. The recognition from HISSAN Lalitpur is said to reflect the institution’s continued academic progress and the collective contribution of students, teachers, and parents.
