
Nine Nepali Writers and Artists Honored in New Delhi
An international felicitation program held in New Delhi, India, honored nine writers and artists from Banke and Bardiya. The event—organized by Hindi Urdu Adabi Sangam, Delhi as an International Felicitation and International Kavi Sammelan and Mushaira—recognized Nepali writers and artists.
According to Dr. Hariprasad Timilsina, Advisor to the Central Committee of the Bheri Literary Society, senior litterateurs from the United States, Sri Lanka, Mauritius, Nepal, Pakistan, and Bangladesh, among others, participated in the program. Eight writers from Banke and one artist from Bardiya were honored.
