Printing and Distribution of Class 1–3 Reading and Math Materials with IEMIS Update
Addressed To 753 Local Levels, All - Notice Regarding printing and distributing additional learning materials in the areas of reading and mathematics for Classes 1–3, and updating details through IEMIS.
Under the per-school annual incentive grant of Rs. 9,000 for strengthening educational quality and performance, funds were provided in Fiscal Year 2081/082 for printing and distributing additional learning materials in reading and mathematics for Classes 1–3.
According to the program implementation manual for FY 2081/082, local levels were required to update the details of printed and distributed materials through IEMIS. However, since several local levels have not yet updated the details, they are requested to complete the update in IEMIS by the end of Ashoj.
From FY 2082/083 onwards, local levels where the program has been implemented must print and distribute additional learning materials for Classes 1–3 under Budget Activity No. 2.7.13.13 and update the details in IEMIS.
The additional learning materials are available on the Curriculum Development Centre’s website: https://www.moecdc.gov.np/en/text-books.
Therefore, within the available resources and in accordance with the current year’s program implementation procedure, all concerned local levels are notified through this notice to print and distribute one set each of the listed materials in both subject areas.
