
CTEVT Free Technical Education Scholarship for Marginalized Students 2082
Online Application Notice for Diploma and Pre-Diploma Level Admission
Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Examination Control Office, Sanothimi, Bhaktapur
As per the letter of the Technical Division of CTEVT (Ref. No. 3641, dated 2082/03/19) and the Medical Education Commission (Ref. No. 3, dated 2082/04/02), in line with the budget and program provision of the Government of Nepal for Fiscal Year 2082/83, a total of 360 seats (324 at diploma/certificate level and 36 at pre-diploma level) have been allocated under the Special Scholarship Program for Dalit, Muslim, Disadvantaged, and Marginalized Communities.
Eligible Nepali citizens from the specified communities are informed to fill and submit the online application form for free technical education under the following programs.

Minimum Academic Qualifications Required
(1) For Diploma / Certificate Level Programs
Before the Letter Grading System
For all diploma/certificate level programs:

Passed SLC or equivalent examination with compulsory Mathematics, English, and Science from a recognized institution

Or passed technical SLC/pre-diploma level with at least 68.33% total marks from CTEVT in a relevant subject
After the Letter Grading System
-
For Certificate Level in General Medicine (HA) and Medical Lab Technology (CMLT):
-
Passed SEE or equivalent with compulsory English, Mathematics, and Science
-
Minimum GPA: 2.0 out of 4.0
-
Or passed technical SLC/pre-diploma with 68.33% total marks from CTEVT in a relevant field
-

For other health and non-health diploma/certificate level programs:
-
Passed SEE or equivalent with compulsory English, Mathematics, and Science
-
Minimum GPA: 1.6 out of 4.0
-
Or passed technical SLC/pre-diploma with 68.33% total marks from CTEVT in a relevant field

(2) For Pre-Diploma 18-Month Programs

Before Letter Grading System: Passed SLC or equivalent from a recognized institution

After Letter Grading System: Students who have appeared in all subjects of SEE (including those who received NG in results) are eligible to apply

Certified copy of Citizenship Certificate or minor identity document (e.g., Birth Certificate)

For Dalit category: Certificate from National Dalit Commission / District Administration Office / Municipality or Dalit ID

For Muslim category: Certificate from Municipality / District Administration Office

For Disadvantaged category: Recommendation from local authority verifying the applicant belongs to a disadvantaged family

For Marginalized communities: Certified letter from local body confirming inclusion in the list of 22 deprived indigenous groups or as Haliya/Kamaiya

Certified copies of SEE / SLC mark sheet, character certificate, and test score sheet for 29-month technical SLC, if applicable

Migration or equivalency certificate (for non-SEE Board graduates)

If Quota Remains Unfilled

Vacant seats within a target group will be filled by the highest-scoring applicants from other groups
Regarding Student Registration

Final registration deadline: 2082 Mangsir 25

Institutions must fill student registration details in ITMS and submit the complete file to the concerned Provincial Office

Registration fee must be deposited online into CTEVT’s or provincial office’s account by Mangsir 26

Registration files must be submitted by Mangsir 29
Facilities Provided to Selected Students

Rs. 3,500 monthly stipend

Students already studying under any other CTEVT program are not eligible to apply. If found, the application will be cancelled.
