The Bachelor of Dental Science (BDS) course consists of 4.5 years of full-time study with one year of compulsory rotating internship. Five Dental Colleges of Nepal offers Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course with affiliation from Tribhuvan University (TU). Candidates who have passed Intermediate (10+2) in Science or equivalent qualification from the recognized academic institution by the Tribhuvan University (TU) within or abroad with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) and English as main subjects, or Ten Plus Two (10+2) with the compulsory subjects mentioned above. The candidate must have scored not less than 50% of marks on the aggregate of the above subjects. Candidates other than those mentioned above will not be eligible to apply for the course.
