Nepal Police Transfers 15 SSPs and 16 DIGs (Name List)

Government of Nepal, Ministry of Home Affairs, Police Headquarters, Human Resources and Administrative Department, Personnel Administration Branch published a notice regarding the transfers for the position of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) in various places.

Sixteen senior police personnel of Nepal Police have been transferred. Sixteen Deputy Inspector Generals (DIGs), including the Province Police Chief, have been transferred.

After the transfer, Dhiraj Pratap Singh has been given the responsibility of leadership in the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of the police. DIG Sahakul Bahadur Thapa in CIB has been transferred to the Provincial Coordination Directorate.

Other DIGs are Ganesh Bahadur Air in Karnali, Basant Kumar Pant in Commission for Investigation of Abuse Of Authority (CIAA), Purushottam Kandel in Far West, Ghanshyam Aryal in Special Bureau, Uttamraj Subedi in Ranipokhari, Ravindra Dhanuk in Work and Crime Investigation Department, Prakash Adhikari in Human Resources. And Department of Administration, Basant Kumar Lama in the Secretariat of the Inspector General, Ishwar Babu Karki in the Directorate of Investigation Planning and Development.

Fifteen Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs) of Nepal Police have been transferred. As per the decision of the Home Ministry (Hon'ble Ministerial level) on Monday, the SSP of Janapad Police Group has been transferred.

According to the information issued by the Home Ministry, Mira Chaudhary has been transferred to Province-1 Training Center, Biratnagar, Shyamlal Gyawali to Province Office Banepa Kavrepalanchok, Uma Shankar Panjiar to Province Office Birgunj, Janakraj Pandey to State Office Kanchanpur, Govind Kumar Sah to Province Office Dharan, Krishna Hari Sharma Pokhrel to Province Office Pokhara, and Deepak Thapa to Province No. 2 Office Janakpur.

Similarly, Hriday Thapa has been transferred to the Investigation Planning and Development Office under the Police Headquarters and Tek Bahadur Tamang has been transferred to the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority in Tangal.
